60 S4-5 – Targets related to the management of material negative impacts, the enhancement of positive impacts, and the management of material risks and opportunities Entity-specific additional information: Research, development, and product innovation Osculati’s in-house production is divided into three main areas: light assembly, heavy machining, and packaging. Within these areas, a team of 30 specialized technicians is dedicated to manufacturing a wide range of products, including lights, spotlights, ladders, gangways, battery switches, and many others: The company’s policy is based on the goal of maintaining maximum control over the entire production process through constant monitoring of every operational phase, reducing production times, and responding flexibly to customer requests. Each item is carefully followed step by step throughout the production process — from individual components to packaging — to ensure thorough quality control. For these reasons, Osculati invests significantly in the modernization of its processes and machinery. Specifically, in 2022 the company purchased a new horizontal Flow Pack packaging machine capable of packaging items ranging from 18 cm to 1200 cm in length, covering approximately 400 products — more than 50% of those packaged in bags. Additionally, the thermal transfer printer installed on the machine can print directly on the film all the product information, including the EAN code and waste disposal instructions, thereby eliminating the need for an additional label on the bag and facilitating proper disposal. 1.200 internally manufactured products in the catalogue 750 Custom / Semifinished Internally Manufactured Products 850 Products Repackaged from Bulk to Retail 250 Extra Processing and/or Repair Operations 110 New In-House Manufactured Items
