Osculati’s Commitment to Communities Osculati has always supported organizations and associations that share its values — both through financial contributions and by making its expertise available. Below are the main initiatives supported and sponsored during 2024: • PoliMi Sailing Team – Politecnico di Milano, Department of Design: In 2024, Osculati sponsored the Department of Design of the Politecnico di Milano, an internationally recognized university, for its PoliMi Sailing Team project. The team developed a prototype of a Moth sailing boat applying technological innovation and sustainability principles. The prototype competed in the SuMoth Challenge 2024, an international event dedicated to research and innovation in the nautical sector. Osculati decided to support this initiative to help young students combine their passion for sailing with their technical and scientific knowledge in a sustainability-driven project. • I Timonieri Sbandati ASD – Navigare Oltre i Limiti (Sailing Beyond Limits): In 2024, Osculati supported this project through donations of nautical materials and equipment for people with disabilities affecting their lower limbs (and, in some cases, upper limbs). Both the skipper and co-skipper are paraplegic and wheelchair users, offering a unique perspective to their guests. • Sail the Children – Davide Besana: This educational and solidarity-based project engages children from Save the Children’s Punti Luce centers — educational hubs located in disadvantaged urban areas — teaching them the basics of sailing and drawing. The initiative aims to boost self-esteem, teamwork, and social trust. In 2024, Osculati contributed materials worth €4,000 to support the project.
