Osculati is aware that its manufacturing and distribution activities have an impact on the environment and so pays very close attention to its waste management programme. I ts c om m itm ent is to f oc us on th e c h arac teris tic s of th e p rod uc ts th em s el ves in s uc h a w ay as to f avour th eir reus e w h erever p os s ib l e b y end of l if e rec y c l ing or c om p os ting. The main waste produced comes from business carried out: • In manufacture, assembly and packaging: which is non-hazardous waste, mainly ferrous scrap and packaging. • In logistics: non-hazardous waste, mainly packaging, cardboard and wood. • In the offices: non-hazardous waste, mainly paper, p l astic and w et w aste. A sep arate w aste c ol l ec tion sy stem is in p l ac e throughout the company. This ensures that almost all of the waste produced is recyclable. Osculati strives constantly to reduce the amount of waste created by improving its processes.
