The FOB also acts as a wireless kill switch (MOB): if the driver falls into water or moves away, the system automatically shuts down the engine(s). There are 3 available versions: • BASIC: panel + control unit. • STANDARD: panel + control unit + remote control FOB 2 • PREMIUM: panel + control unit + FOB 5 remote Main Technical Features: • The multifunction CoastKey system is designed for use on vessels equipped with new generation outboard engines (installation for inboard engines or previous generation outboard engines is possible upon specific request). • The panel replaces the traditional switch/key for ignition and requires a PIN to activate the engine. • the control unit can manage up to 4 engines. • The BASE version allows starting/stopping from the panel (requires PIN). • the STANDARD version allows starting/stopping also via remote control without requiring a PIN. • The PREMIUM version allows start/stop from the remote control without requiring a PIN, and has an additional 2 buttons (arrow up/down), which can be programmed to control functions such as gangway, winch, trim (UP/DOWN), lighting (ON/OFF), etc. • The wiring must be ordered separately depending on the type and number of engines. • On request, buttons and keyboards can be customized with the shipyard's logo. • It is possible to purchase the wireless remote controls FOB 2 (14.970.32) and FOB 5 (14.970.35) separately. • The system is developed in Norway (by Nordic Wireless Solutions AS) and designed for challenging marine conditions.
